Season 5 episode 3 “Four Walls and a Roof” recap

The Walking Dead season 5 episode 3 “Four Walls and a Roof” was another good episode this season with some shocking scenes and it included one of the most famous lines from the comic book, “tainted meat.” You can read the full recap of the episode on our Season 5 Episode 3: “Four Walls and a Roof” recap. SPOILERS BELOW, do not scroll down if you have not seen the episode yet.

The major points from this episode are (in order how they appeared in the episode):

  • The episode starts with the Terminus people eating Bob’s leg and Bob starts laughing hysterically, shows them that he’s been bit and says he is tainted meat.
  • Father Gabriel finally breaks down and tells Rick and the group that he locked the church as things got bad and didn’t let anyone in as he heard them being killed by walkers outside.
  • The Terminus people leave Bob outside of the church where Rick and the group are staying for now; Bob tells them all of the details he can about Gareth and where they are, which Father Gabriel knows the location Bob described.
  • Rick and a few others leave the church to set up an ambush of Gareth and his group; the Terminus group break into the church and order the remaining members of Rick’s group to surrender.
  • Rick and the others that left with him, return to the church and take out Gareth and his group in gruesome bloody ways.
  • Michonne finds her katana with one of the Terminus people and takes it back.
  • The next day, Abraham leaves with Eugene, Rosita, Glenn, Maggie and Tara in a small school bus to go to Washington, D.C., as the others stay with Rick to wait for Daryl and Carol to return.
  • At night, Michonne is keeping guard outside, hears something and goes to check it out; Michonne finds Daryl and asks him where Carol is, Daryl replies to someone, “Come on out.”


Looking ahead to next week’s episode…
Season 5 episode 4 is named “Slabtown” and the description of the episode is: “In this episode we get to meet a whole group of other survivors, but what looks safe and nice on the outside has a bit of a dark side.”
