Episode 2 Infected was another good episode with nice pacing of action and character development. Read the Season 4 Episode 2 – Infected full episode summary here.

Some of the major story-lines in episode 3 were: someone is feeding rats to the walkers at the fence (it was a white hand); the prison group thinks there is some type of virus going around which caused Patrick’s death so they try to keep the ones that were exposed away from the others; Karen and David have been coughing and probably have the virus; Carol gets kind of “cold” to the two girls (Lizzie and Mika) that she is now looking after since their dad died from Patrick’s attack in D block; Mika tells Carol that Lizzie is not weak but messed up (could they be setting up a Ben and Billy story-line from the comic book?); one side of the prison fence has a lot of walkers on it causing it to slowly collapse, Rick and Daryl use the pigs who may be sick to lure the walkers away from the fence; baby Judith is crying a little strange (could she be sick?); Michonne holds Judith and starts crying (there will probably be more later in the season about this, maybe she had kids as in the comic book?); Carol and Lizzie talk a little and Lizzie takes Carol’s knife; Rick takes apart and burns the pig pen; Rick gives Carl back his gun and he puts on his own holster with his gun.

The end of the episode shows Tyreese going to visit Karen with flowers. Instead he finds a blood trail leading to an area with the charred bodies of Karen and David. Two gasoline canisters sit near the bodies and they look very similar to the two that Rick used to burn the pig pen with. So who could have killed Karen and David? Were they killed because they turned into walkers? Could it have been Lizzie with the knife? Most likely not since she’s a kid but maybe she had help from Carol? Could it have been Rick? Could it have been Sasha (watch the second preview video below and you will see why I included her as a possibility)? Who do you think did it?

The description of next week’s episode “Isolation” is: As one group leaves the prison in search for supplies at a local college, those who stay must deal with recent losses while preserving what remains.

Next week’s episode will have the most walkers we’ve ever seen!
It is said that in the first sneak peek video below, the scene with the giant herd that there’s supposed to be 7,500 walkers.
