Well this came out of nowhere and not sure where/if there is any connection to The Walking Dead universe this will touch, besides the apocalypse setting. At Gamescon the below live action trailer was shown of a new upcoming game named Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead. The game is set to come out in 2020. The description of the video says: “Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead combines the challenging puzzle gameplay of Bridge Constructor with the post-apocalyptic zombie world of the official AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’.”
Reading the short announcement on Headup’s website, they are working with AMC to put this game out. Honestly this sounds like a money grab with AMC trying to make as much money as they can on The Walking Dead name. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game turns mainly into a mobile game with in-game transactions.
