This past Sunday’s The Walking Dead episode was episode #905, “What Comes After” and you can read the episode’s full recap here.

As AMC has been marketing for months now, this week’s episode was Rick Grimes’s last episode. And well, if you watched the entire episode you know it was kind of a trick, as it looked like Rick Grimes sacrificed himself by blowing up the bridge to stop the mega walker herd from going towards the Hilltop. Then we see Anne/Jadis and she miraculously finds Rick, barely alive, on the side of the river and she has the mysterious helicopter pick them up so Rick can be saved. Where are they taking Rick? Nobody knows right now, yet we do know that yes that was Andrew Lincoln’s last TWD episode, but from Talking Dead we now know that Andrew Lincoln will be returning for a “trilogy of Walking Dead” movies that will only run on AMC. So Rick Grimes survives but no one knows. Nobody saw or heard the helicopter either?

There are lots of articles out now about what’s going on with Andrew Lincoln and future AMC TWD movies that I’ll post about shortly. In the meantime, the preview for the next three episodes looks epic as they skip ahead six years in the apocalypse. Yea, six years!
