SPOILERS ahead! Below I’ve put together the more important events that happened in The Walking Dead season 8 episode 12 “The Key” but you can read the full episode recap and watch the “Inside the Episode” video here.

In episode 812, Simon looks to take control of the Saviors as Negan is on his own in a one-on-one against Rick; Negan luckily gets away from Rick but at the end of the episode we see him held at gunpoint by Jadis, the leader of the trash group; Michonne, Maggie, Rosita and Enid meet three odd women in a van, the leader is named Georgie, and wants to exchange food for information; after Maggie finally agrees to be friendly, she gives Georgie a crate of food and records; Georgie gives them some of the food in her van and also a binder full of information (plans for windmills, water mills and other things to help create a community).

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT EPISODE
The next episode is #813, it’s named “Do Not Send Us Astray” and the description from AMC.com says: “Trouble arises when unexpected visitors arrive at the Hilltop and the community is thrust into action; heartbreaking discoveries are made.”
