SPOILERS ahead! Below I’ve put together the more important events that happened in The Walking Dead season 8 episode 5 “The Big Scary U” but you can read the full episode recap and watch the “Inside the Episode” video here.

In episode 805, a flashback shows Gregory meeting with Negan and his lieutenants (Simon, Dwight, Gavin, Regina and Eugene); in the present, Negan and Father Gabriel talk while trapped in a trailer; Negan tells Gabriel about his wife; Negan and Gabriel cover themselves in walker guts and make their way to the Sanctuary while fighting off walkers after Gabriel trips; Rick and Daryl find explosives in the jeep that the Savior Yago was driving, Daryl wants to use the explosives to blow open a wall at the Saviors Sanctuary to let walkers in but Rick doesn’t want to as innocent workers may get killed, so they have a quick friend-fight that ends when the jeep explodes along with the explosives, then they go their separate ways; Eugene figures out that Dwight is possibly the one who is helping Rick and the Survivors; Rick approaches the Scavengers location alone; Eugene visits Gabriel in his cell and sees that he’s not looking so good (sick).

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT EPISODE
The next episode is #806, it’s named “The King, the Widow, and Rick” and the description from AMC.com says: “With things looking up for Rick and the group, an argument breaks out at the Hilltop; the consequences of the decision are life versus death.”
