SPOILERS ahead! Below I’ve put together the more important events that happened in The Walking Dead season 7 episode 7 “Sing Me A Song” but you can read the full episode recap and watch the “Inside the Episode” video here.

In episode 707, with Jesus and Carl in the Savior truck, Jesus jumps out of the moving truck, expecting Carl to follow him, but he doesn’t and stays in until the truck stops. Carl manages to take out two Saviors before getting tackled. Negan then gives Carl the tour around the Saviors home (showing Carl his wives; Saviors showing him respect; one of Negan’s wives, Amber, cheated on him and the man that did it gets the iron). Dwight and Daryl see Negan kissing Sherry and Dwight isn’t looking happy. Negan makes Carl take off his hat and eye patch, they talk and later Negan makes Carl sing.

As Negan and Carl are in a truck heading to Alexandria, we see Jesus is on top of the truck and then he is suddenly gone from the roof of the truck. People have been questioning where did Jesus go? Is he inside the truck or did he stay at the Saviors compound? Well the episode summary on AMC says that Jesus “stays behind at the compound.” Someone slips Daryl a note under the door of his cell that says, “Go now” with a key. Who gave this to Daryl? Was it Dwight? Was it Sherry? Was it Jesus? At Alexandria, as Negan waits for Rick’s return, he chills with Carl, Olivia and Judith.

I’m not sure what they’re doing with Michonne, as she made a road block of dead walkers, and of course a female Savior in a car just happens to come by and stops. The female Savior is taken hostage by Michonne who wants her to take her to Negan. Rick and Aaron are on a supply run and find a houseboat in a pond which has walkers in it. Rosita continues to put down Eugene but he makes a bullet for her. Spencer found supplies and as he, Rosita and Eugene return to Alexandria, they realize that Negan is there.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MID-SEASON FINALE
The next episode is the mid-season finale, episode #708, it’s named “Hearts Still Beating” and the description from AMC.com says: “Alexandria receives an unexpected visit.” The episode description on TV.com says: “With members out scavenging for supplies, Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues. With tensions high, things quickly spin out of control.”
