In episode 207, we see everything starts falling apart for the group as we see them split up, plus the somewhat safe Abigail estate burns down and the survivors must find another place for safety. The group gets split up into three groups, possibly four groups if Daniel is still alive, read below for more details about that. We have Travis and Chris together in one group; Madison, Alicia, Ofelia and Strand in another group; and Nick deciding to go on his own.

DID DANIEL SURVIVE HIS POSSIBLE SUICIDE?
FTWD Executive Producer Dave Erickson talked with some media about Daniel’s fate and he pretty much spoiled it for everyone, saying the below when answering a few questions.

From my perspective, we didn’t see Daniel burn for a reason. Daniel Salazar’s story is done for the season, but my hope is we will see him return in Season 3.

No one should hold their breath to see Daniel in the back half of Season 2. Ruben [Blades is] amazing, the character’s amazing, and this is, I think from the story perspective, it’s going to do good things for us, and then the hope is that when we get to Season 3, we can find a way to return him to the fold.
