If you’ve read The Walking Dead season 5 episode 1 recap on the AMC site, then you’ve probably also noticed that it says that Morgan comes across the “No Sanctuary” sign months after Rick has escaped Terminus. Months! So there is a pretty big time period between when Rick and the group escape Terminus and when Morgan comes across it. Morgan sees an “X” carved on a tree and starts following the “X”‘s.

So who carved the “X”‘s on the trees? It wasn’t Rick and his group. Could it be Gareth and others from Terminus who are tracking Rick’s group? Could it be the hunters from the comic? I’m going to assume that we won’t see Morgan until late in the season, especially if he is months behind Rick’s group travels.
