Episode 7 continued with the Governor and his story. The Governor, along with Lilly, Meghan and Tara, joins Martinez’s group and they go to their camp. Later that day, Martinez and the Governor are on the roof of the trailer with Martinez hitting golf balls and the Governor caddying, a reverse from Woodbury. The Governor asks Martinez if he can keep the camp safe and Martinez says that he hopes they can “share the crown.” The Governor hits Martinez in the head with a golf club, kicks him off the trailer, and drags him over to a pit full of walkers that kill him.

The next day, the Governor is hunting with Pete and Mitch. They come across another camp site with people but Pete doesn’t want to rob them. Later they come across the camp site with the people all dead now. Later, the Governor wants to leave as he says the camp is unsafe. So the Governor, Lilly, Meghan, Tara and Alisha leave in a car but stop in front of a mud pit filled with walkers and they go back to the camp.

The next day, the Governor kills Pete in his trailer and goes to Mitch’s trailer and tells him what he did and that he is taking leadership over the camp. The Governor throws Pete’s body in a pond with an anchor on him. The next day, Meghan is attacked by a walker that got into the camp. The Governor is able to kill the walker before it can bite her. The Governor goes back to the pond and looks at Pete in the water, who is now a walker, his new walker aquarium. He then drives, pulls over and looks out at the prison where Rick and Carl are at. Nearby, outside of the prison, he sees Michonne and Hershel burning walker bodies and he aims his gun at them.
