This may sound common with all of my recaps but this was again, another good episode with lots of character development and leaving us, well at least me, a little shocked at the ending. This episode focused on two groups, first Rick and Carol going on a run to see if they can find any medical supplies; and the group (Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese and Bob) from last week on their way to finding the vet school for medicine. Here are some key points to this episode.

Carol tries to explain to Rick why she did what she did and Rick sees that she’s a completely different and dangerous person. They find a young couple, Ana and Sam, who were going to come back with them but they end up finding Ana’s body later being eaten by walkers and Sam didn’t return to the house.

Tyreese is filled with anger and rage and starts making stupid decisions which doesn’t help the four of them. Bob confesses to Daryl that he’s an alcoholic and he blames himself for Zach’s death (from episode 1 this season). The group is able to find all of the medicine on Hershel’s list. When leaving, Bob almost drops his bag to walkers but is caught by Tyreese and Daryl. They pull him to safety, to find out that he had a bottle of liquor in his bag.

Rick and Carol are about to head back to the prison when Rick tells Carol that she won’t be returning to the prison with him because Tyreese will kill her when he finds out, others won’t want her there when they find out and he doesn’t want her there with his children. Rick gives Carol some supplies and she leaves in the car that Ana and Sam were using.

What did you think?
Do you think Rick made the right decision? This is hard to say because I can see both sides. But for me, even though Carol is wrong in killing two people who may have got better, who knows it’s possible, I think I wouldn’t be able to leave someone on their own during a time like this, I would have brought her back to the prison and tried to figure out some kind of solution so Tyreese wouldn’t kill her, but that may backfire as well. There really is no easy choice here. Leave a comment on what you would do. I also think that Carol will be back at some point this season.

Looking forward to episode 5
The description for episode 5 “Internment” is: Multiple enemies put pressure on Rick and the group. Could this finally be the breaking point for the survivors and the prison?
