The Walking Dead season 3 continued last night with episode 9: The Suicide King and there were some surprising twists in the episode. Read and watch the summary of episode 9 “The Suicide King” here. Preview videos of episode 10 are down below.
Episode 9 starts with the Governor having a Merle vs Daryl fight to the death match but that is broken up soon by Rick and Maggie. Rick and Maggie open fire and use smoke grenades and panic ensues as Daryl and Merle escape with them. They meet up with Glenn and Michonne at their parked car and have a heated chat as Glenn and Michonne want to kill Merle. Daryl says that if Merle can’t come to the prison with him then he isn’t going either. So Daryl and Merle go off into the woods as the rest head back to the prison.
Back at the prison, Tyreese, Sasha, Ben and Allen are going to bury Donna. Ben and Allen think that they should try and take over the prison before the rest of the group returns but Tyreese and Sasha disagree. In Woodbury, there is panic as some try to leave but the guards won’t let them as there’s walkers outside. In the town, screams are heard as someone is being attacked by a walker. Andrea kills the walker but can’t put the man out of his misery from walker bites. The Governor comes out of his apartment and shoots the man and goes back in his apartment. Andrea tries to calm the Woodbury residents down with a speech.
At the prison, the group returns and Carol was sad that Daryl didn’t come back. Rick’s group meets with Tyreese’s group and Hershel thinks that they should let them join their group. As Rick is about to agree and let them join but then he hallucinates a vision of Lori on the catwalk in her wedding dress and loses it. Rick starts yelling, “What do you want from me?”, “I can’t help you!” and “Get out!” Tyreese and his group quickly leave as they weren’t sure what Rick was going to do.
