Merle captures Glenn and Maggie, Michonne finds the prison

Episode 6 “Hounded” last night was good and we got to see Michonne in action against Merle and a few scouts. Read and watch the summary of episode 6 “Hounded” here.

The show started with Merle and three scouts hunting down Michonne as Michonne knew what was up and took out two scouts before Merle shot her in the leg. Merle would show himself as the a-hole he is by killing one of the scouts himself. Later, Merle finds Glenn and Maggie and takes them captive as they didn’t want to bring Merle back to the prison. Michonne sees the whole thing but she can’t do anything as she is limping around from the recent gunshot wound.

At the prison, Rick gets a few phone calls and later it’s revealed that the calls were from Amy, Jim, Jacqui and then Lori. At Woodbury, Andrea gets her groove on with the Governor. At the end of the episode, Daryl finds a weak dehydrated Carol in a cell. Rick finally sees the newborn baby and holds her. They go outside the prison and Rick notices something outside the gate. He walks closer to the gate and sees Michonne standing with walkers around her at the gate (she had walker intestines splattered on her from a previous scene so the walkers can’t smell her) as she holds the baby supplies that Glenn and Maggie were going to bring back.

Some people keep complaining about Andrea in the TV show. Well I hear you, I don’t really like how different they made her character in the TV show compared to the comic book but I accept it. Please, can you please look at it from her point of view and think. She was with Michonne for eight months hiding out and surviving and now she finds a little community that somewhat resembles what life use to be like and she likes it there. She doesn’t know about the bad things that are going on behind the scenes so of course she thinks it’s a good place to stay. The key part that some people don’t get or don’t accept is Andrea doesn’t know what/who the Governor really is and how he runs the community.

The Walking Dead 3×07 Sneak Peek “When the Dead Come Knocking”

In next week’s episode it looks like Merle is going to be beating up Glenn to get him to tell him where Daryl is at. Maggie is also tied up and there’s a preview where the Governor is walking into the dark room with her. Will the show follow the comic and have the Governor do some bad things to the prisoners? Of course the comic had the Governor raping and torturing Michonne while Glenn listened to it in the next room. Will they have the Governor or Merle rape and torture Maggie as Glenn listens? I have a feeling they won’t go that route because the Governor doesn’t seem to be that much of a psycho as he was in the comic. But Merle on the other hand, I don’t know about him.

One part from the whole disturbing Governor-Michonne story in the comic that I’ll miss is the part where she’s crying and she says that she’s crying for him because of what she’s thinking of doing to him is scaring her. In my opinion, that part just really shows Michonne’s character and you know at that point she will get some revenge, as she does later in the comic.

Michonne says that she's crying for the Governor, as she thinks about all of the things she's going to do to him and it makes her cry as it scares her.
